1 – Jennifer Lawrence
She’s hot, she falls over a lot and she NEVER says the right thing. Jennifer Lawrence, born Kentucky August 15th, 1990, is the girl’s girl, isn’t she? She’s the one actress the guys want to date and the girls want to be BFF’s with and apparently now, she’s single again too.
Despite notching up an Academy Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a BAFTA, two Golden Globes and a bunch of Critic’s Choice Movie Awards, she’s had a press bad time of things of late. Her on-off relationship with About A Boy star Nichols Hoult has been more off than on and they most recently split again in August 2014 citing disruptive work schedules as the reason behind the split. Then there were those naked photo leaks….
She’s not hiding from the media frenzy of course. She handled all difficult situations (including that embarrassing trip on the the stars when she went to accept her award) in true girl-power style and she went on to do what she does best… Made a couple of hit movies!
There’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 due out in 2015 plus another movie calledJoy in which she stars alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in the drama about a struggling single mom. Keep your eyes peeled!
2 – Scarlett Johansson
She turned 30 just a couple of days ago on November 22nd (born in New York in 1984), and she’s still one of the hottest women in the world. Sadly, Scarlett Johansson is another chick that has been in the media because of some very public photo leaks. Luckily things have gotten better for the blonde bombshell with new baby, Rose Dorothy born to fiance Romain Dauriac in September 2014.
Not just making babies and getting engaged, she’s been busy making movies too and she has the eagerly-awaited Avengers: Age of Ultron coming out in 2015 in which she plays the stunningBlack Widow. Plus… there’s The Jungle Book and she’s the voice of Kaa in the movie – the slithering snake!
3 – Emma Stone
Oh come on – we all fell in love with Emma Stone in Easy A, right? What about Crazy, Stupid Love? Surely you’ve seen that one? What about The Help? Everyone loved that film?
One minute she’s a fiery redhead and then she’s a bubbly blonde – whatever the hair color, we all love Emma Stone both men and women alike. She might be only 26 years old (born November 6th, 1988 in New York) but she’s certainly made her mark on the silver screen and has been part of some of the funniest, most brilliant films of our time.
She’s been a busy girl recently too, and has two films set to be released in 2015. There’s a project in which Woody Allen is said to be heading that’s currently a big secret. There’s also a Cameron Crowe film coming out which again, seems to be super-secret. We haven’t seen a bad film of this beautiful girl so we are sure whatever the films end up being, they’ll be awesome. Just as awesome as Superbad! 
4 – Nina Dobrev
We know her from The Vampire Diaries but Nina Dobrev isn’t just known for her TV work you know. Bulgarian-born Nina Dobrev is just 25 years old (born January 9th, 1989) and is starting to branch into film work.
There’s just one film set to come out in 2015 called The Final Girls in which Nina plays a girl called Vicki. Alexander Ludwig is also in the new movie, and so is Adam DeVine. It’s a horror-comedy and the plot-line kinda sounds a little bit like Scream… Grieving daughter in need to avenge her mother’s killer. Sounds familiar, right?
5 – Amanda Seyfried
Pennsylvanian-born Amanda Seyfried (December 3rd, 1985) might just be 28 years old, but she’s certainly a great name in the acting world. Considering the fact she suffers from stage fright, panic attacks and anxiety, she’s taking on some pretty meaty roles with films like Chloe and Mean Girlsunder her belt. Oh and who could forget about Les Miserables?
Believe it or not, there are no fewer than four movies starring this beautiful blonde coming out in 2015. Fathers and Daughters, for example, also stars Jane Fonda and Diane Kruger in a drama that promises to be a pretty gritty watch. Plus there’s Ted 2 and she’s in that… We cannot wait for that! Hands up if you laughed like a maniac when you watched the first one!
There’s another Disney style movie hitting our screens too with Pan. You’ll see Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard in the movie too. Levi Miller is playing Peter Pan. Super excited for this one!
The Social Life is the fourth and final film that Amanda Seyfried will be releasing in 2015. There’s a pretty dire stab-in-the-back situation in this comedy, and it sounds like one the girls will want to watch…
6 – Vanessa Hudgens
25 year old Vanessa Hudgens was born in California on December 14th, 1988 and has come quite a long way since her Zac Efron dating days. Oh come on – we’re all jealous. We’d give our right arm to go on a date with this hottie, let alone have a relationship with him for five years. She’s now happily dating American actor, singer and model Austin Butler now though, don’t worry!
She has one film coming out in 2015 called Kitchen Sink which is every bit the comedy-horror you thought it might be. Ed Westwick is in this movie, however, which adds to the totty-factor in this zombie-style movie that promises to be quite a funny watch.
7 – Keira Knightley
British born Keira Knightley is an absolute stunner, right? Plus she’s acted alongside Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. We’re all insanely jealous. Born in Islington, London in England on March 26th, 1985, she’s now a household name, coming a long way from her The Hole days in which she literally filmed the entire movie in a great hole under the ground. It was a gritty watch and not always pleasant, and she’s just taken on grittier and grittier roles ever since.
The recently married Keira (she married the guy out Klaxons – James Righton), has had many films released recently, and there’s quite a few more to come too. 2015 is seeing her release the movie Everest. The adventure / drama / thriller will see her starring alongside many Hollywood greats including Jake Gylenhaal, Robin Wright, Josh Brolin and Sam Worthington in the film that sees the group try to climb Mount Everest with disastrous consequences.
8 – Dakota Fanning
Hannah Dakota Fanning was born on February 23rd, 1994 in Georgia, US and is perhaps best known for her roles in films such as the 2005 delight with Tom Cruise – War of the Worlds, the 2012 hit The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2… in fact, all of the Twilight movies, The Secret Life of Bees, and plenty more.
Her social life is kept relatively private and she seems to be going to university whilst holding down a stable relationship with model, Jamie Strachan who she’s been dating since 2013, so things appear to be going very well, and with a few obvious hit movies due to be released in 2015, her luck is just going from strength to strength.
Franny is the first film she’s going to be seen in, and Theo James, Richard Gere and Clarke Peters are in this movie too. This drama looks to be quite interesting, and so does the second with an “announced” untitled project also due out the same year.
9 – Emily Browning
We loved her in Sucker Punch, and she was also in the 2011 film Sleeping Beauty but there’s more good stuff to come from this beautiful song actress. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that she is just 25 years old.
She’s Australian and was born in Melbourne on December 7th, 1988 and although she took a small break to complete her studies, she’s back with a vengeance with a couple of films due out in the next year or so.
Shangri-La Suite, for example, is a drama which will see her starring alongside Twilight legend Ashley Greene, and cutie Luke Grimes too. Legend is also out in the same year and has Tom Hardy in the thriller. Clearly this is a must-see film.
10 – Emma Watson
We can’t believe how much little British Harry Potter cutie Emma Watson has all grown up! French-born Emma is just 24 years old (born April 15th, 1990) but she’s got some pretty impressive stuff notched up under her belt. My Week With Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, 8 Harry Potter movies (plus one short), and Noah amongst many others. There’s quite a few more coming too…
The thriller Regression will see Emma Watson playing the part of Angela Grey in the movie that follows a father (Ethan Hawke) being committed for a murder of which he has no recollection. There’s also the drama Colonia Dignidad which sees her being transported back to 1973. Finally there is La La Land also starring Miles Teller in the movie that follows the story of an aspiring actress and the jazz pianist that falls for her.
11 – Teresa Palmer
28 year old Australian Teresa Palmer is a model as well as an actress and you must admit – she is pretty hot. She’s been in a few films over the years including the 2006 scare-fest The Grudge 2plus Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler in 2008, and she was also in the hit film Warm Bodiesalongside Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence’s ex boyfriend.
There’s a few films starring Teresa Palmer coming out in 2015 and just one of the ones that we got quite excited for was Knight of Cups which will see her starring alongside Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Wes Bentley. There’s also the eagerly-awaited remake of the 1991 hit film with Patrick Swayze – Point Break. It would appear that she’s been pretty busy considering she had a baby in February of this year (2014) with husband Mark Webber, a well established actor and director.
12 – Odette Annable
29 year old Odette Annable was born in California on May 10th, 1985, and you will probably recognize her from her role in the 1008 film Cloverfield. We didn’t understand what was really going on in the film… Did you understand it?
That’s not all she’s known for of course. There was the 2009 Jessica Alba film The Unborn that she starred in, plus 2006’s The Holiday and the 2007 film Transformers.
The Truth About Lies is her 2015 film, and it’s set to be a good one. A rom-com featuring on a guy in a tangled web of lies, it looks like it could be quite funny! 
13 – Kat Dennings
Most of us love Kat Dennings from the hit TV show Broke Girls but she was also in the 2011 filmThor, the 2008 film Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and The House Bunny which was released in the same year.
To Write Love on Her Arms is the 2015 film to look out for if you are a fan of this brunette beauty, and you’ll see her playing the lead role in the drama-biography style film. You’ll also find Chad Michael Murray, Mark Saul and Rupert Friend in the movie.
14 – Ahna O’Reilly
Perhaps best known for her role as Elizabeth Leefolt in the 2011 film The Help, Ahna O’Reilly (born in California on February 17th, 1985) has quite a number of films on her resume! She made her debut in 2003 in Bill the Intern and since then has gone from strength to strength starring in a pretty impressive string of movies. 2008 saw her in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, she had a small part in the hit TV series The Vampire Diaries in 2011, appeared in How I Met Your Mother, and is set to appear in one of the most gripping looking films of 2015.
Sleepwalker is a thriller which will see Ahna acting alongside Rachel Melvin and Richard Armitage and is definitely one to keep your eyes peeled for.
